To Single Register your dog with the APDR, please upload an image of paperwork in your name (Certificate and Pedigree) from another accepted registry along with a clear photo of the dog. If you do not have paperwork from another registry you may use an online pedigree. You must provide breeder information for verification.
The Sire and Dam need to be registered with the APDR in the current owner's names before a litter can be registered. If either sire and/or dam are not APDR registered please complete a Single Dog Registration for said dog before proceeding with Litter Registration.
Registering a kennel name with the APDR provides you with the following benefits:
*Allows you to register all dogs under this name and remove your legal name from the paperwork.
*Allows you the option to remove your physical address from all paperwork.
*Includes digital copies with all paperwork ordered by the kennel.
To transfer the ownership of an APDR registered dog to a new owner, simply upload the front of your Registration Certificate (where it lists the dog's name, registration number, birthdate, etc), and the signed and filled out back of the Registration Certificate. If the dog belongs to a Registered Kennel, then the signature must be the registered name of the kennel owner.
